Description
ULTRA RARE!!!! VERY difficult to find! Superb live LP concert recording of the original Patti Smith Group, "CANINE TEARDROP" recorded live on the 1976 club tour of America. This band was at its best in clubs, and this record is proof! Patti Smith was (and still is) the punk princess of all she surveyed. Her original band lineup that was legendary: renown rock historian Lenny Kaye on lead guitar; Ivan Kral on bass; Richard Sohl on piano, and the Keith Moon-like Jay Dee Daugherty on drums. Released on the highly sought and collectible Amazing Kornyfone Record Label (#1982). Knockout concert features songs: "Gloria/In Excelsis Deo," Set Me Free," "Ain't It Strange," a tremendous cover of Pete Townshend/The Who's "My Generation," "Birdland," "Redondo Beach," stellar cover versions of Lou Reed/The Velvet Underground's "Pale Blue Eyes" and "We're Gonna Have A Real Good Time Together," as well as "Kimberly," and more. Terrific slip cover art design. Produced in the same tradition and with as much care and attention as the legendary Trade Mark Of Quality (TMOQ).
MINT- vinyl!!!
MINT-/STRONG VG+++ cover!!! Just some slight aging coloration on the extreme left edge of the slip cover is all.
From my own personal library, which means preservation and perfection!
