VERY RARE BLUE CLASH PICTURE DISC – original 1979 Canadian release.
As a Long Time… (Jerk – see what I did there?) …Clash collector, I’ve only ever seen three of these and I have two of them. I am reluctantly selling duplicates in my collection to make space… It is a beautiful addition to any serious Clash collection.
This is a limited edition original picture disc of the Canadian release of the Clash’s iconic first album.
Epic / Sony in North America released the Clash’s explosive 1977 debut in 1979 and included many extra tracks (non-album singles and b-sides) and this Canadian release follows that track-listing.
It uses the original 1977 artwork but – as per the standard Canadian album sleeve – it features dark BLUE colouring rather than dark green / khaki on the other releases (although I'm not sure that comes through - I may add more pictures).
It’s in near-mint condition as I’m not sure it has even been played.
