JECKLIN 254. First and only made in Switzerland STEREO pressing in as NEW condition. Original production and Swiss only relase in very small quantities. Juerg Tenger studied in Winterthur, Detmold and Vienna. His teachers were Richard Krotschak and Andre Navarra. He graduated in Vienna. For a number of years, he also studied composition. Juerg Tenger began to study the performing practice of early music at the beginning of his time in Winterthur (1966), and Josef Mertin, Eduard Melkus and August Wenzinger (Viola da Gamba) subsequently became his teachers in this field. Juerg Tenger is no considered one of Europe’s leading Baroque cellists, but his repertoire also includes the most important 20th century works for cello. He has appeared as a soloist in concerts and radio broadcasts in several different European countries. He has been the solo cellist of the Vienna Capella academica since 1975, and a member of the Ensemble Eduard Melkus. Juerg Tenger was one of the founding members of the Vienna Baroque Soloists, he has taken part in recordings for Deutsche Grammophon’s Archiv series, and has given courses at the Vienna International Music Workshop.

VG = Very Good ( International EX): LP ist gespielt, weist Fremdgeräusche auf. Haarkratzer sind vorhanden. Cover weist leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen auf.

Record has some hairlines, a little background noise. no deep scratches or skips. Cover is not perfect, but a clean copy .

G = Good: LP ist wiederholt abgespielt. Hörbar sind Fremdgeräusche wie leichte Kratzer oder durch wiederholtes Abspielen entstandenes Grundrauschen. Dennoch ist eine „G“ eingestufte Platte noch gut abspielbar u. durchaus kaufenswert. Cover weist deutliche Abnutzungserscheinungen, kleine Risse oder Farbflecken auf.Record is lovely used, but plays well with some background noise. Cover has tears and shows wear.
