Here's a very nice copy of the KINKS debut album on the PYE label, cat#NPL.18096 (Mono). The matrix number is a bit interesting... it's either A1-T/B1-T with the '1' scratched over with a '2'... or it's A2-T/B2-T... with the '2' scratched over with a '1'!! Either way, it IS an original pressing: perhaps someone out there can shed some light on this. Condition of the triple flipback G&L cover is excellent.. there IS a very light water stain right edge of the front - this is so faint it may not show in the photo. Otherwise, please study the photos - what you see is what you get! The labels have some spindle-marking but are otherwise unblemished Seen under a strong light, the vinyl has some non-sounding 'paper' marks and there is one small non-sounding 'scuff' mark on side 1, track 2. I have thoroughly play-tested this disc prior to listing, and it sounds just great! Quite apart from it's historical importance, this is a great rockin' beat-era album that bears up well nearly 50 years later. Postal charge includes insurance.
