Description: Original Fowl Records pressing of this classic. Just an American Band is a perfect example of how spiteful, nihilistic, snotty, and nasty hardcore can sound when it really wants to. It’s just an absolutely vicious record, and a stone-cold classic. You NEED this!
Condition (sleeve / vinyl): vg-/vg (The sleeve has a decent amount of general wear—wrinkles, creases, rough seams (no actual splits), stains, etc. But this is to be expected from one of the biggest “party” records ever. This copy comes with the original lyric insert, which also has a few stains. The vinyl’s got couple small surface scuffs that have no effect—no major pops or crackling, BUT there is one skip (that plays through) on their cover of “Amercan Band.” Obviously, it’s in the WORST SONG on the album (I hate cover songs) so it’s no big deal to me, but it must be noted that it is there. And as I stated, the rest of the album plays through wonderfully, and all in all is a very tyipcial copy of this masterpiece.
