THE VELVET UNDERGROUND : White Light/White Heat LP (VERVE [USA] V/V6-5046) 1968.
Jacket is VG+ with spine and light ring wear. Record is NM. From a large single-owner collection (see our other auctions for more from the same collection). The previous owner made a habit of taping his LPs as he bought them and only playing the tapes to preserve the condition of his vinyl. So, most of the records we are listing from this collection are either Excellent or Near Mint even in cases where the jackets are not. We regret that he didn’t store his records in outer sleeves and that he added his name to many of the records which has led to some wear and lower grades to jackets of otherwise NM records. Better than the other way around though! See each record description for condition specifics. Visually Excellent (a couple faint superficial marks) but plays Near Mint. Really clean, does not appear to have been played very much. Distinguishing features to this pressing: Visible skull tattoo on front cover. Tracklisting: "Here She Comes Now" on back instead of “There She Comes Now.” Back cover credits Lou Reed for "Guitar", not “Lead Guitar.” Andy Warhol not credited on back cover. “Oakfield Ave.” publishing credit instead of “Three Prong Music.” 1350 Avenue of the Americas address.
