This is a nice original (not a reissue) copy of THE VELVET UNDERGROUND's second album "White Light/White Heat" on LP, released on Verve Records as V6-5046 featuring the ORIGINAL SKULL COVER. The cover itself is a very strong MINT MINUS; it is entirely intact with only a slight trace of color fade on the black front cover (the skull is still discernible), very little age discoloration whatsoever and only the very slightest ringwear, mostly visible on the back cover. There is the tiniest bit of fray on the lower left-hand corner, too small to show up in the picture. There is a small punch-hole on the the cover. There is a tiny code written in ink in the lower right hand corner of the back where Sam Goody stores used to write the month you bought it and the price you paid (in case you needed to return it) as well as my initials in red ink on the top right corner of the back. The record itself is a beautiful, shiny, blemish-free black, as clean looking as you are likely to find anywhere. The record is stereo and plays MINT TO MINT MINUS (mint minus in spots only). It still has the original Verve inner sleeve in excellent condition. This is my originally owned copy that I purchased when it came out and I've had in plastic since the late 70's.  Overall this item is in pretty gorgeous shape.
