Description

I am parting with some of my treasured LPs.  Here's a Gorgeous copy of THE VELVET UNDERGROUND'S WHITE LIGHT WHITE HEAT.  IT's a FIRST PRESSING on the BLUE VERVE LABEL.  Yes, it has the SKULL TATOO---It complies with all of the following first press criteria; Original US stereo pressing (East Coast):
- Visible skull tattoo on front cover.
- Tracklisting on back mis-titles "Here She Comes Now" as "There She Comes Now"
- Back cover credits Lou Reed for "Lead Guitar" rather than just "Guitar"
- Andy Warhol is credited on back cover
- spine reads "V6-5046 WHITE LIGHT/WHITE HEAT THE VELVET UNDERGROUND VERVE"
- "Three Prong Music" publishing credit on all tracks.

The vinyl plays a perfect NM, but the cover has a touch of ring wear, most noticeable is a 1" scrape along the ring wear at bottom.  Also, there must have been something staples to the cover because the top left above the H in WHITE there are 2 small holes that go through to the back side.  All the seams and spine are in tact with a couple minor scuffs, made more prominent by the fact that this is a black cover.  Even with these cover issues, it's very hard to find a better example of this LP in a first press.  They were played, used and abused, and when you see other copies of this LP you quickly appreciate a beautiful relic like this one.  The original inner is included.
IF YOU LIKE THIS LP, YOU'LL LOVE MY OTHER EBAY RECORDS.  TAKE A LOOK SEE.  I POST NEW ITEMS REGULARLY.
