Description

The Velvet Underground - Iconic and highly influential art house album, 'The Velvet Underground Lou Reed & Nico', on vinyl in mint condition.  Originally released in 1966, this particular album is a rare Greek pressing in stereo from 1978 on the Polydor label (serial no. 2489 142). The audio quality is excellent and the LP is identical in every respect to UK and US editions, apart from the Greek text on the rear side of the cover (see photo). This is not an import, I bought it myself in a record shop in Athens, Greece, in the 1980s. The cover with Andy Warhol's famous 'Banana' painting is also in superb condition. Looks great and plays flawlessly, and you'll own a very unusual edition in very short supply. It will be sent to you in a cardboard boxed mailed to reach you in perfect condition. Very low starting price, so grab a bargain!
