Description

This is a fine original U.K. pressing copy of an archival LP of unreleased studio tracks by the Velvet Underground.  Most of these tracks were recorded between the release of the group's second and third LPs.  While their quality isn't uniformly excellent (things take a dip on side 2 IMHO), the highlights are equal to the group's best work: "I Can't Stand It," "Foggy Notion," "Lisa Says," "Ocean."  (The latter two had appeared in live versions on the 1974 double LP Live 1969.) This pressing was the first to release these recordings officially.  The jacket is close to M- with some light creasing along the spine and seams and some light staining on the back cover (EX+).  The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with minimal surface noise -- a strong M-.  The record comes with a two-sided insert (M-).

 

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs.
