THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO-SELF TITLED (1967, Verve)

Condition of Cover: VG, some EW, some SW, SS along top edge 4" NRWCT. Banana mostly present, stem part missing, complete tear between 2 parts 3/4 of the way down to the banana. Two thin yellowing lines on front of cover, faint. Some small nicking around edges of banana, not too many. 

Condition of Record: Visual G-/F+, lots of hairline marks and a small amount of feelable scratches. Here is the rundown: Heroin: 2 quick skips near the beginning, beginning plays VG-, most of middle of track plays VG, then goes back to VG-. There She Goes Again: 1 quick skip 1/3 of the way in, plays VG-. I'll Be Your Mirror has quick skip on the intro, plays VG-. Black Angels Death Song: VG-. European Son: 1 tiny quick skip near the beginning, plays VG-. Sunday Morning: has numerous skips. I'm Waiting For my Man: has numerous skips. Femme Fatale: has numerous skips. Venus In Furs: small amount of quick skips at the beginning, plays VG-. Run Run Run: 4 quick skips at literally the very end. All Tomorrow's Parties: small amount of quick skips toward beginning. This item is more a display piece than a play copy, although as mentioned above, it can be played. This is how it played on my Gemini turntable using a Grado cartridge.        

Additional Information: Original. V-5008. MONO. Eric Emerson torso on back side of cover. Includes inner Verve sleeve.

Grading Scale: My grading scale is as follows:

SEALED, M-, NM, NM-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, G+. I do not sell anything lower than G+. My records are visually and play graded to check for accuracy. My VG+ should have little to no surface noise according to my turntable using a Grado cartridge, and my EX gradings are equivalent to Goldmine's VG++ grading, just more descriptive within the grading spectrum of VG++. My M- is open unplayed. My NM and NM- gradings are reserved for items opened once and played. I generally default to VG if the cover has any noticeable ringwear, surface wear, or seam splits.
