THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO Lou Reed BANANA Intact Warhol 2nd Cover Original LP Vinyl 1967 V6-5008

Offering to you the era defining confluence, The Velvet Underground & Nico (Banana) produced by Andy Warhol.  This opened, gently used copy of this cultural touchstone has the Andy Warhol 2nd cover, with the still INTACT, NEVER REMOVED banana sticker on front cover.  With an EX vinyl grading and a VG+ audio grading, this is a must have for the collector of any and all things 1960's.

• Vinyl is EX condition, Audio grade is VG+.  Very glossy and clean.  Very small (~1/8") separate scratches on Side B in tracks 2, 3 and 4, all which could not be felt with clean fingertip.  Center labels super clean and intact.  A sonic delight! Audio clip available upon request.

• Cover is VG+ condition.  The iconic Andy Warhol Banana sticker on front is in fantastic shape and still intact (never removed nor peeled off), on this gatefold cover.  Eric Emerson airbrushed out back cover art.  Age appropriate discoloration of the vast white/off-white expanse on front, and back cover. Split on top corner of album insert opening and bottom middle.  Small (~1/8") tear interior spine near middle.  Small scuff on catalog number on outer spine.  Edge wear on top edges.  Clean and still beautiful especially for its age.  Images may have a slightly different color cast from actual item, but are as close as we could get.  Please see photos for details.

• Sleeve is in EX condition, though not original.  Vinyl has been cleaned with ultrasonic cleaner before placed this anti static, archival quality, no scratch sleeve.  See photos for details.
