THE VELVET UNDERGROUND
(MGM STEREO LP SE-4617, 1969)
A stereo original of the BMI version of this seminal '69 VU LP. This "Closet Mix" pressing has these matrix codes scratched on the runoff wax:
Side 1: SE4617 Side1 MGS 1824 Rev. Final
Side 2: SE4617 Side2 MGS 1825 Rev. Final
- Catalog number printed on the right side of the label.
- Label credit reads "All Selections Publ. By Virpi, Inc. - BMI".
CONDITION: [jacket] Visible ringwear to both sides of jacket plus some rubwear. All text readable on the spine, which has some white stress lines. Seams intact with some scraping near jacket lip. Back jacket less worn than front. A VG+ jacket overall.
[disc] Lustrous vinyl has light surface scuffs and scratches to Side 1. Side 2 is in much better shape. Record will upgrade via a good professional-grade cleaning. As is, vinyl is a strong VG++.
