This is a lovely original and authentic UK first pressing copy of this iconic album. It is in exceptional condition for 53 years and the best one I have seen. Original Velvets albums in strong condition are rare and in demand is increasing. The record has been owned by the same person since purchased new.

The vinyl record is visually graded as EXCELLENT condition with only very light superficial sleeve removal marks.  The labels are clear with little evidence of spindle wear. The record appears not to have been handled or played a lot.  I play-tested the album and it sounds great. Only the quietest very occasional soft background crackle and the odd pop. It’s exceptional for its age.

The outer sleeve is graded as VERY GOOD condition.  Some age and ring wear and very mild creasing but edges are straight and true. No label residue or tears. Spine has some wear but details are readable.  It is a really nice sleeve with no major defects.

The original unlined paper inner sleeve is included and this is date stamped 03/71 to further underline the albums age and authenticity.  The sleeve has some yellowing and aging but no major folds so condition VERY GOOD.

Please carefully study the pictures which are part of the description. The item you see is what you will receive. I don't use stock photos.

I grade records using the 'Record Collector' grading guide, with additional comments as appropriate.

The record will be sent by recorded delivery carefully packed out of the sleeve in a new poly lined black paper inner and encased in a plastic outer sleeve in a card record mailer with an extra stiffener.  I sometimes recycle card packaging.

I am very happy to answer any specific questions you may have about record condition: I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.   Please note: most of the records I sell are 25 to 50 years old. I do not play grade every record. Many are visually graded. This is usually sufficient as 99% of the time if it looks clean it will play clean. Even those that are play tested may play differently from one record player to another. Sometimes these old pieces of plastic have not been played for many years and may have a crackle or pop in them somewhere. Please factor this in before deciding to purchase. However, I do offer a money back guarantee if you're not happy.

I love music and have been buying and selling records, memorabilia and music related items for many years.  Please check my 100% Ebay feedback since 2004 and buy with confidence.
