Description
You are bidding on the Velvet Underground and Nico's classic debut eponymously titled vinyl record. This is the first STEREO pressing on the Verve label, V6-5008.
The vinyl record has been play graded and visually graded in EX+/NM condition. Sounds and looks great!
The cover is graded in VG+/VG condition. There is some wear. There is a seam split down the center of the gatefold cover (see pic). The banana is complete, however there are tears at the stem which is typical for this release (see pix). Otherwise banana is in excellent condition. The back photo has the highly coveted "torso" cover which is the Eric Emerson torso picture which was quickly removed due to a lawsuit involving the picture. As a result, the torso cover which it has become known as, has become a highly collectible item.
I am selling other rare 1st pressing records, so please check out my other auctions. I will combine shipping. These are all coming from my own personal collection. I only collect 1st pressings of jazz records. All in Excellent or better condition. You will NOT be disappointed!!
