An incredible first pressing of THE VELVET UNDERGROUND AND NICO on Verve Records, with a virtually impossible to find UNPEELED BANANA on the Andy Warhol designed album cover. The cover (this is the second variation, with Eric Emerson's torso airbrushed out) is in MINT to NEAR MINT Condition--it's fresh and clean, the banana is perfect and has never been peeled (virtually impossible to find) and there is no aging, writing, or any flaws except for some ultra minor and very faint evidence of bleed through from the glue which attached the slick to the backing board, at the bottom left edge near the spine and at on the back cover at the bottom right corner. This is extremely minimal and faint, but we describe any issue, no matter how minimal. This is by far the cleanest cover we've had, including sealed copies.

The disc looks unplayed--it's that clean--with no sign of wear or even handling, other than an extremely faint spindle trail (you can see it in the close up photo) which in person looks like the result of the disc being put on a spindle as part of the manufacturing process--to us, it doesn't look like a result of being played. And it has the very earliest Stereo matrix numbers
