Description

Incredibly rare first stereo pressing of the amazing The Velvet Underground And Nico album from 1967. This is one of the most important records of all time, and this is the pressing you want. The complete banana on the cover is unpeeled and completely intact, you won't find a better example. Eric Emerson's torso is completely uncensored on the back cover. It has not been airbrushed or covered with a sticker. There are absolutely no cracks or defects on the banana sticker. Overall I would rate the cover as excellent. There is a bit of yellowing on the front cover and a few small strains. There is a bit of wear on the corners and edges. The cover is straight and solid with no seam splits or creases. After 54 years this is in wonderful condition. I would grade the vinyl as excellent plus to possibly near mint minus. There is plenty of shine with a few light paper scuffs. Then again it's not about the vinyl. The original inner sleeve is included. Don't miss this opportunity to add this incredible artifact to your collection.
