Description
V-Disc Army release 535, featuring Harry James and His Orchestra on Side A with "Autumn Serenade" and "It's Been a Long, Long Time" (vocal: Kitty Kallen). Side B features Benny Goodman and His Orchestra performing "I'm Gonna Love That Guy" (vocal: Dottie Reid) and "Clarinade". This V-Disc is shellac, and pressed by Columbia. The recording of "It's Been a Long, Long Time" is the same found on Columbia release 36838, which is featured in "Avengers: Endgame".
Visually, the record grades an E- on the VJM scale with shiny, nearly flawless shellac. There is a sticker on the Side B label, as well as some small black dots radiating from the spindle hole (please see photos for details). Play-graded, this is a conservative V++ with low surface noise and clear music.
Record will be carefully packaged in an oversize box, sandwiched between cardboard filler pads, and floating in packing peanuts for safe shipping.
