this fantastic collection of field recordings made in 1969 - 1971 in the lesser antilles.  traveling with his family on boat to many remote and hard to reach islands and locations Kristen Malm managed to collect some outstanding performances.  wonderful traditional folk music.  Highlights include a performance by Byorkester in Saint Lucia that is well above average.  this obscure record is a valuable research tool for all interested in the traditional music culture of these islands.  Small private label, gatefold cover, 2 LP set.
