Description

"Red Hot + Dance" is an album produced by the Red Hot Organization, the US organization dedicated to raising money and awareness to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS. It was released in July 1992 on Epic Records.

George Michael was instrumental in bringing the project to fruition and the album features three new songs by him - the single "Too Funky", plus two exclusives to this album "Do You Really Want To Know" and "Happy".

The rest of the double album contains remixes exclusive to this project of big dance tunes of the early-1990s. This includes Frankie Knuckles string-tastic house remix of Lisa Stansfield's "Change", Sly & Robbie's take on Madonna's "Supernatural", and Joey Negro (aka Dave Lee) reworking the timeless club classic "Gypsy Woman". On a more leftfield tip is Brian Eno's reconstruction of the indie-dance classic "Unbelievable" by EMF.

All of the cover and sleeve artwork is by Keith Haring.
