NOW returns with volume two of their look back to the decade that helped change pop music forever. For this edition, the label has gone full out with this lavish five album boxset pressed on beautifully and varied coloured vinyl. Included in this edition revives 44 extended mixes with many back on vinyl for the first time since their original release. The journey begins in 1983, with Wham!'s 'Bad Boys' and Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson's blockbuster 'Say Say Say', before gliding into Eurythmics, Spandau Ballet and The Cure's playful 'The Lovecats'. Tears for Fears' 'Change' and Marilyn's debut 'Calling Your Name' round out a side of 80s pop brilliance. The second LP explodes with synth and club energy like New Order's defining 'Blue Monday', Freeez's 'I.O.U (Megamix)', Malcolm McLaren's 'Double Dutch' and Lionel Richie's 'All Night Long (All Night)' in full 12" glory. Highlights continue with Heaven 17, The Human League,and Thompson Twins, before Bronski Beat, Evelyn Thomas and Frankie Goes to Hollywood bring Hi-Energy power. LP4 keeps the dancefloor alive, pairing Culture Club's US mix of 'It's A Miracle / Miss Me Blind' with Chaka Khan's 'I Feel For You' and Grandmaster Flash's iconic 'White Lines (Don't Do It)'.
