Up for grabs is another six pack of 7" picture disc singles! There's releases by American metal band The Rods, Foreigner, Tycoon, an interview pic disc from Living Colour, British harmony band Prelude, and a group called Liars.
Prelude is from the UK, and features husband and wife team Brian and Irene Hume. They began in 1970, and are still together to this very day! They're here with their remake of a Neil Young song titled ''After the Gold Rush''. And a beautiful 7" picture disc!
Liars is a noise, art rock, and electronic band from Brooklyn, formed in 2000. Those guys are here with the single for "Leopard on My Right" and "Dear Liars". Look at the B side. The word "Liars" is there. It's just not noticable at first! And incredible artwork on the "Leopard" side...
Most people know who Foreigner and Living Colour are. Tycoon was an AOR (album orientated rock) from New York in the late 70s and early 80s. The single here is "Such a Woman". Originally released in '79.
The Rods are a NY based metal band. The singer and guitarist is David "Rock" Feinstein, a cousin of Ronnie James Dio. "Rock" was also in Elf, with Dio. The band is still together, and still rockin'! The Rods are here with their 1982 remake of an old Motown song "You Keep Me Hangin' On", made famous by Diana Ross and the Supremes, as well as Vanilla Fudge. Trippy artwork,on this one, too!
I've never played any of these, as I don't spin specialty vinyl such as pic discs or colored records. They all look good, with a few light surface marks. They'll all come in generic sleeves, as any original sleeves are no longer available. Perfect for decorating, art projects, or anywhere that needs a little color to brighten things up!
