Description
Here is a copy of the original soundtrack to the 1971 film "Vanishing Point", starring Barry Newman. A cult film? A car chase movie? An existential touchstone? ...well, that's in the eye of the beholder.
The music includes tunes by Delaney & Bonnie & Friends, Jerry Reed, Big Mama Thornton, and others.
This is a copy of the original release of the album, with a gatefold cover. Having said that, this copy has a hole punch in the upper right corner of the cover and the lower right corner is cut off. (I'm not an expert on this, but it's my understanding that these were two methods used to indicate that the record was a "cut out", meaning the distributor could discount it.) This is also some light rubbing wear front and back (see photos) that occurred before I started using poly covers over my albums. The disc itself was ultra-sonically cleaned last year and has not been played since.
