Voici le très rare et unique exemplaire du disque en picture vinyl de 'Cold Meat' de 'Vagina Dentata Organ' (Jordi Valls).

 Il est comme neuf et je ne l’ai jamais écouté ... 💿

Je vais vous raconter l’histoire de ce disque unique, oui, il est unique, un seul exemplaire sur les 12 différents qui ont étaient édités par Jordi Valls (Vagina Dentata Organ) en 1987 pour ces proches amis et sa famille.

Jordi a conçu 12 exemplaires, 12 exemplaires différents pour les membres de sa famille ou proches amis du monde de l’art.
Chaque disque est unique avec une signature et un texte différent pour chacun des 12 exemplaires.
Il n’existe qu’un seul de chaque et pas un de plus.

Le mien, je l’ai eu par hasard …
Dans les années 90’, j’avais un ami qui travaillait à Londres comme cuisinier.
Il allait souvent dans un magasin de disque dans le quartier de Soho qui était tenu par Steve Stapleton (Nurse With Wound, Current 93).
Lorsque Steve a fermé sont magasin, cet ami y était …
Steve lui a donné le disque qui se trouvait derrière lui, accroché au mur.
Cet ami fréquentait cette boutique depuis très longtemps et en guise de remerciement Steve lui a fait ce cadeau.
De retour en France, mon ami vient me voir, j’avais aussi une boutique de disque à cette époque, il me dit j’ai un cadeau pour toi…
C’est là qu’il sort d’un carton ce disque !

À ce jour, je n'ai revu aucun autre exemplaire de cette série de 12 que Jordi a fait faire et je ne sais nullement à qui les autres exemplaires s’adressent …

Ultimate family and friends edition of a handful copies only, 12 or even less.
With silver and golden ornaments, dedication and Jordi's signature.
Unique Artist edition dedicated and signed.

I will tell you the story of this unique disc, yes, it is unique, only one copy out of the 12 published by Jordi Valls (Vagina Dentata Organ) in 1987 for friends and family.

Jordi designed 12 copies, 12 different for each member of his family or friends from the art world.
Each disc is unique with a different signature and text for each copy.
There is only one of each and not one more.

I got mine by chance...
In the 90s, I had a friend who worked in London at a restaurent.
He often went to a record store in Soho which was run by Steve Stapleton of Nurse With Wound, Current 93.
When Steve closed his store, my friend was there…
Steve gave him the record that was behind him, hanging on the wall.
My friend had been visiting this store for a long time and for a thank you, Steve gave him this gift.
Back in France, my friend comes to see me, I also had a record store at that time, he tells me I have a gift for you…
That’s when he takes the record out of a box!
When I saw the signature on the record I understood that it wasn’t just any record.

To this day, I have not reviewed any other disc in this series that Jordi had designed, but I don't know who the others are aimed at...
