Various Artists, "The Twelve Tribes Of Israel", this is a very rare compilation LP released in the UK in 1976 on Dennis Harris' Lucky imprint, (LYLP 5004), this is the only pressing of this LP and it has never been reissued in any format and like most of the other Dennis Harris label releases is unlikely to ever be repressed.

The A side is Roots vocals, the B side is Dubs, almost certainly all mixed by King Tubby, the tracks are:

Side A

1) " Blacker Black" - The Royals
2) "Jah Victory" - Alphonso
3) "Chanting Jah Victory" - Vivian Jackson
4) "Roots Of One Tree" - Leroy Hamilton
5) "Collie Weed" - G. D.
6) "Natty Command" - Cool Cat

Side B

7) "Perfidia"
8) "Something Tonight"
9) "Genuine Dub"
10) "Blacker Dub"
11) "Pablo v. Babylon"
12) "Riddle Me This"

The tracks were recorded at Joe Gibbs, Channel One, King Tubby's and Eve studios and the artists include, Soul Syndicate, Channel One Band (Revolutionaries), Watty Burnett All Stars, Leroy Hamilton Guests, The Royals, The Prophets and Vivian "Yabby U" Jackson.

Visually both sides are excellent+ with just the slightest of feint scuffs, the vinyl is also slightly warped, though this does not effect play in any way.
Unless someone has an unplayed copy, this may well be the best copy of this album in existence.

Track 1 plays well with very, very slight surface noise.
Track 2 plays excellently with barely any surface noise.
Track 3 plays excellently with barely any surface noise.
Track 4 plays with just a touch of surface noise.
Track 5 plays with very slight surface noise.
Track 6 plays with very slight surface noise.
Track 7 plays excellently with barely any surface noise and just a hint of crackle.
Track 8 plays excellently just one tiny pop.
Track 9 plays excellently with just the slightest touch of surface noise.
Track 10 plays excellently with barely any surface noise.
Track 11 plays excellently with minimal surface noise.
Track 12 plays well with just some very slight surface noise.

Both labels are in excellent condition, not even a spindle mark.
The laminated sleeve has slight ring wear, slight wear around the edges, a few small creases in the laminate, two small pin holes, top right front, top left rear and a small area of sticker residue. I have included several photos of the sleeve so you can get an accurate idea of it's condition, it is not mint, but there is nothing seriously wrong with it.
