Description

Thinning out my personal record collection. For sale is a rare first pressing of the soundtrack to the 1956 film, “Rock, Rock, Rock”. This is an all-star compilation with songs by Chuck Berry, The Flamingos, and the Moonglows.

Media Condition: I use the goldmine standard of grading and grade strictly. For this album, the vinyl is graded VG because of a few visible scratches on both sides. All the scratches are superficial and cause little to no surface noise on playback. There is little to no audible or visible groove wear and the vinyl still has a nice glossy sheen (see pictures). This records plays better than VG on my turntable with a Stanton 5107AL. The spindles look clean although have a few spindle marks that show up under bright light inspection.

Cover Condition: the cover is also graded VG, primarily due to clear tape on spine and bottom seam. Despite the tape, there are no splits I can find in the seams or spine. Other notable features is a decent amount of scuffing to the spine and corners and some light staining on the back. The front is super glossy and this album looks sharp on a shelf, especially when in a protective sleeve (included). No writing or stickers anywhere on cover.

Track Listing:

The Moonglows – I Knew From The Start

The Flamingos – Would I Be Crying

Chuck Berry - Maybelline

The Moonglows - Sincerely

Chuck Berry - 30 Days

The Flamingos - The Vow

Chuck Berry - You Can't Catch Me

The Moonglows - Over & Over Again

Chuck Berry - Roll Over Beethoven

The Flamingos - I'll Be Home

The Moonglows - See Saw

The Flamingos - A Kiss From Your Lips

Packaging: All LP come in new, quality 3 mil outer sleeves. The discs will be packaged outside of the cover in a new poly lined paper inner sleeve, all inside the outer sleeve. This is then wrapped in heavy kraft paper and then packed in either a 12” record mailer or sturdy cardboard box cut down to size, with added corrugated stiffiner material. I try to reuse packaging materials whenever possible so long as it doesn’t compromise on protection in transit. This keeps both shipping costs and waste generation down and is just common sense.

Shipping: items will be shipped by end of next business day via media mail. An express mail option is also available.
