Description
HERE COMES THE DUKE Treasure Isle UK 12 track LP
Produced by Duke Reid
Treasure Isle TILP 010, (-68) ca. -78; EX/EX+
Made in UK; 12 tracks on brilliant vinyl in slightly worn sleeve
w/ a tiny damage from removed tag on front. Only a couple of
inaudible (?) hairline scuffs + markings around centre holes
made me drop this from M-, but...
Sound quality on some tracks is really lo-fi - perhaps transferred
from vinyl? So, comes w/ lots of original crackling ; )
Ken Parker - True, True, True
The Techniques - Run Come Celebrate
The Techniques - Sweet Soul Music
Joya Landis - Kansas City
The Termites - Love Up, Kiss Up
The Soul Lads - Funny
Alton Ellis - Laba Laba Reggae
The Supersonics - Second Fiddle
Danny Simpson - Mary Poppins
Tommy McCook - Soul Remedy
The Techniques - I'm In The Mood For Love
The Soul Lads - I'm Yours Forever
Sorry for the incomplete sleeve scan!
UNFORTUNATELY I CAN NOT PROVIDE SOUND CLIPS.
PLEASE see if You find some other interesting items from my reggae/ska vinyls,
promotional and other rare cds and cd-singles!
This p&p applies to 2nd Class/Economy Mail to all destinations; it can take 2-4 weeks to reach You.
If You win many bids, Your total P&P shall naturally be reduced to actual cost.
If You want Your packet Registered (my recommendation - the only way to get
receipt + tracking number from Finnish Post), please let me know!
Sleeve / record grading
Note: All grading is done by eye (jacket first), with more than 30 years of experience. I have tried to be VERY strict to avoid nasty surprises. (Standard jewel cases NOT graded.) Your money back, if my grading is false! I hate deceitfully upgrading sellers, too!
Ringwear, adhesive tape, price tags or their remains, pen markings et al are separately noted.
Sealed = Not opened. The shrink wrap or other seal may be slightly torn but clearly the record has never been taken out of its cover.
M (Mint) = Perfect, looks like never been played - but of course You can never be absolutely sure.
M- = Near mint, has been to a Good Owner, who played it very carefully and probably not many times.
EX+ (Excellent +) = Has been to a Good Owner or two, who played it carefully and handled it as well as You or I but there are minor signs of use.
May have remains of price tag glue.
EX = A record that is clearly a used one but should satisfy most collectors. Possibly light scratches. Sleeve corners or edges may be slightly worn, but no seams are split. May have remains of price tag glue; all these are explained.
I don't sell records in condition worse than EX, unless they belong to an interesting collection.
If a compact disc looks suspicious, I'll play it and if does not cooperate, I won't even try to sell it!
I have used this grading successfully in Finland and I apologize, if it differs substantially from gradings You are more familiar with.
P&P applies to Economy Mail to all destinations; if You want to "upgrade" it to Priority, please contact me!
Thanks and good luck!
