OUT-OF-PRINT 2012 UK 23-track 2-LP compilation, featuring John Savage's favourite tracks from the post-punk era on grey-coloured vinyl; presented in a deluxe gatefold sleeve package accompanied by colour inner sleeves, digital dropcard, extensive liner notes from the writer as well as previously unpublished photos, artwork and memorabillia from the era. This edition is a limited one-off pressing of 500 copies worldwide. 

Winner will receive a CTR ButtonBadge as well as a very Limited Edition (40) of a  long-handled Tote-Bag, featuring the front cover artwork from the "Fame" Jon Savage Post-Punk 1978-81 collection. Narrow CTR logo on the other side. Hand screenprinted onto 100% Natural 140 gsm cotton, unbleached and undyed. Size 38cm (w) x 43cm (h) with long handles. Great every day bag, and essential of course for carrying those Post-Punk 45's in... 

This LP set remains sealed from new in the original manufactur's shrink wrap with the sticker still attached over plastic on front cover (shop stock) and, therefore mint and unplayed!. The shrink wrap is still intact with no tears, and the jacket is in excellent condition with no bent corners, cuts, ring wears, creases, seams or other flaws. An absolutely stunning copy. See the images to the bottom of the page. Any visible white spots are shine from the lighting and are NOT defects.

Savage is perhaps the best person to document an overview of the genre, with a bounty of first-hand experience writing for Sounds, Melody Maker and The Face (all critically important publications in the pre-internet era) from the late 70s onwards as well continuing to grace music with his journalistic wit.
