Description: Uriah Heep …very ‘eavy …very ‘umble Large Vertigo Swirl 1Y//1 2Y//1 with its original gatefold sleeve from my personal record collection. Visual grading the vinyl condition is in EX condition visually some very faint sleeve removal hairlines and one very faint hairline on Gypsy no other marks can be made out. Audio it has some very faint ticks at intro of first track on the A & B sides and in quieter sections very faint ticks, but plays clear and without distortion. The vinyl still retains a lovely shine and is free of warps. The labels are both clean and have no writing what so ever. The sleeve is clean; I’ve graded it as VG, as it does have some handling creases and storage wear to corners. The Inner sleeve is VG condition a small stain on one side. I have graded this record VG for the Sleeve as there is some spine wear that can be made out in one of the photos.
Rest assured you are buying this record from a private collector and I have been collecting records for many years. I grade all my records for sale on eBay using the Record Collectors system. I play my records from start to finish on both sides, source direct on my high end turntable fitted with Ortofon 2M Black cartridge and stylus to grade not just the visual but also the audio quality. The UK only postage and packaging on this Item is £4.00 and I make nothing from this as I will send the record out to you in a high quality mailer packed using two stiffeners and in a plastic sleeve. The package will be marked fragile and will be sent Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery. I will dispatch the record between one to two working days of your cleared payment through Paypal. I have listed other records from my collection that in part I am selling off; please see my other Items. I have graded this record honestly and I’m also aware that anyone can make a misjudgement of the quality of used records during grading, however If buy this record and you feel it is not as per the grading in the description I have written and as stated in the record collectors grading system (notes below) then I will be happy to refund your money on return of the same record to me promptly.
The Record Collectors Grading System
Mint: The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or un-played should be mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/ or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra Items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing of edges, of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
