Description

DESCRIPTION: Uriah Heep- Very Eavy, Very Umble  LP.  1st UK press with big swirl label with no credits, laminated gatefold sleeve with incorrect track order and no credits and swirl inner dated 0371.   Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. Postage cost includes tracking and a box mailer.  LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo  6360 006. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970. COUNTRY OF RELEASE:  UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/EX. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and a lot of hairlines and brushing lines. Visually this is very much lower end VG, maybe G+.  Played all of this today on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable.  Plays VG overall.  Music is prominent and loud with some ticks and a trickle of background sound between the tracks and in the quietest passages.  This is one of the best LPs of all time and this must be the best sounding pressing, even with the vinyl at VG/G+.  Cover is a decent EX.  It is firm and square, retains great shape and has minimal edge wear, lightish corner wear and minimal creasing. Very clean inside to gate fold sleeve. Swirl inner sleeve is in poor shape with cellotape repairs, a band name written to both sides, splits to all 3 edges  and no poly.  Very clean labels- just check out the photos.  No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.  PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER HEEP/SWIRLS/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £20 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
