Hello there, come on in and welcome to the auction!

As you can see from my 100% feedback, I sell with complete honesty and reliability.  Above all things I am a record collector and music lover.  I only sell records that I would want to receive. I know well the disappointment of receiving an over-graded record that turns up two weeks late.  That is not the service you will receive here, so bid with total confidence. I don’t sell a lot of records because I spend a lot of time carefully finding, grading and listing them and do not like to rush this process, as many sellers must do to be able to sell 100 records a week!

I am mostly a collector of old time music, pre-war blues and folk, so buy job-lots that often contain rare records that aren’t to my taste so to ebay they go!

Here we have a very 1st UK pressing of Uriah Heeps Firefly that was released on Bronze Records in 1977 and it is utterly MINT!!

This is the very 1st with the unlaminated gatefold outer, lyric card inner, and iconic pale Bronze Labels.

As with only very 1st presses EG is hand written into the dead wax along with A1 and B1 matrix endings.

We also have the very 1st 1/1 mothers making this the very earliest pressing available, but what makes this record so special is the truly archive condition!

It’s simply pristine!!

Sleeve Condition.

The original heavy card gatefold outer is in superb condition with no writing, splits or damage to mention. Everything is utterly perfect as if brand new!

Label Condition.

The 1st press labels are in stunning condition.  There are no rips, rubbing, writing or stains to mention.  There is no centre hole damage at all.  Under a strong light, only one invisible spindle line can be seen!  It’s clear this record has seen only 1 play!

Inner Condition.

The original lyric inner sleeve is in lovely condition with no stains, rips or writing at all.  Perfect!

Vinyl Visual Condition.

So this is where it gets even more special!  The record looks stunningly perfect! It has that “just pressed” look with no dulling, scratches or warping of any sort!  It still retains its factory shine and lustre.  Even under a strong halogen, just a near invisible removal can be seen, probably from the 1 or 2 times this has left the sleeve!!

Vinyl Audio Condition.

The record sounds superb!  There are no jumps, skips or nasty distortion at all! I didn’t hear a single loud click or pop, even at full volume!  It’s a crystal, sharp and bouncy sound throughout!  It’s perfect! Final Upgrade!

So there we have it.  One of the rarest and earliest 1st press examples of the rare UK pressed Heep classic that you will ever come across! It’s in museum quality condition and I would argue there isn’t a better in existence!!
