Description
Urbie Green Septet "New Faces - New Sounds" Blue Note BLP-5036, Mono 10" LP, 1954; Blue/White 'deep groove' label w/ '767 Lexington Ave NYC' address, with the 'ear' etched in the deadwax. Features Doug Mettome, John Murtaugh, Sam Staff, Jimmy Lyon, Dante Martucci, Jimmy Campbell. The record is in VG+/NM- condition - really very clean, with only a few light scuffs and hairlines, retaining most of its original surface gloss; it plays quite nicely. There does appear to be come edge discoloration at the top of the label due to some dried glue on Side 1. The laminate front cover is clean and bright The back cover has light discoloration at the edges and solid seams with slight corner wear and open edge wear; overall cover grade, a strong VG++.
