Description

Elvis Presley
Lonesome Cowboy + Hot Dog b/w Mean Woman Blues + Got A Lot O’ Livin’ To Do
RCA EPA 2–1515

This item features a very rare pressing of this record, the 45 has the orange RCA label that was used from 1969 to 1974. The record was custom pressed for a Midwest retailer circa 1970 and it has been estimated that approximately only 1,000 copies in this form exist. RCA pressed this disk in the Indianapolis plant and used their remainder EP PS stock to sleeve the record which explains why the PS is copyrighted 1957. The EP PS has about a 1.5 inch seam split at the bottom, caused by the age of the sleeve, but the real value of this item is in the extremely rare issue of this disk with the orange label. I am grading the PS as Near Mint even with the seam split as the sleeve overall deserves this rating and the record grades as no less than NM as is Unplayed.

This 45 came out of a warehouse inventory of a major US record distributor of the period.

The part of the picture sleeve with the seam split is the top edge, not the bottom edge as indicated above. The split is approximately 1.5 inches in the center of the top edge.
