Description

Undocumented Unknown Swamp Pop / Teen / Rockabilly 45. Gil Weaver - Girl of My Dreams / Forever Love Me - on the also undoc'd "Ro-Man" label. This is the first and only copy of this record we have ever seen.
The owner of this record store (Mobile Records Alabama) had spoken with Gil about 15 years ago in the Gulfport MS area. We believe this 45 is a much earlier recording than the more well known 1967 single on JCP. 
"Girl of My Dreams" is an upbeat country bop / r'billy track with a swampy vocal by Gil and a teen sounding female back-up. "Forever Love Me" is pure mid tempo swamp pop (similar to Jimmy Donley, but with an even thicker accent).
Record plays and looks a nice VG/+.
