Description
Brand New & Sealed
Ultravox - Vienna
Special HMV 1921 Series picture disc, released for Vinyl Week 2023. However, instead of the studio album, it actually contains tracks from the St Albans 1980 gig recording, which featured as part of the Vienna 40th Anniversary Deluxe box set.
There were only 500 copies pressed to begin with, so copies in each store were very limited. Once HMV became aware of this mistake, they pulled all remaining unsold copies from sale. They relisted it for sale on their website again a couple of days later, stating that three tracks on side two are live recordings. However, the entire album is the live version. Needless to say, this sold out very quickly, regardless of the content.
Visually, the disc itself is stunning. It features original front sleeve on side one, and contact strip-type photos of the band members on the reverse side. It comes packaged in a white die-cut cardboard outer sleeve, with a clear polythene inner sleeve. It also includes a half-height obi strip.
Postage
All records come shipped in a reinforced cardboard record mailer.
UK Customers
All shipping is at UK Royal Mail rates. Larger items, such as boxsets, may be shipped using Parcelforce (or other courier service) due to Royal Mail weight restrictions. All shipping prices include insurance for the full value of the item. Multi-purchase discounts available.
Global Shipping Program Customers
Global Shipping Program customers will be required to pay ebay's GSP postage costs at the time of ordering. If the order ships after the 90 day GSP postage window, you will be refunded these charges. However you will need to arrange direct shipping. In the majority of cases, this will be considerably lower than ebay's charges.
