Description
Up for auction is this 1977 German only release of ‘The Frozen Ones’ 7 inch single.
Catalogue No: Island 11 815 AT
The label was signed by John Foxx at one of his London gigs in 1998 and has been signed in black marker pen on the A side label (see pics).
The record is housed in the ‘swirly’ Island Records promo sleeve and looks virtually mint with scratch free shiny vinyl.
The B side track ‘The Man Who Dies Everyday’ is quite different to the version found on the original Ha! Ha! Ha! LP and has never appeared on vinyl other than on this single.
It did finally make it to CD on the 2006 reissue of Ha! Ha! Ha!
Although it is labelled as a remix on the CD it is a noticeably different version not just a remix and John Foxx's vocal is certainly an alternate take from the original LP version.
