VINTAGE ORIGINAL ISSUE STILL FACTORY SEALED ! Original owner ripped off a small piece of the cellophane on front top right corner and wrote their name. I erased most of it and had the original bass player Richard Nese sign over it in green sharpie. *** PHOTO WAS TAKEN BEFORE BEING ERASED AND RE-SIGNED *** Richard was a founding member and the only bass player on the first self titled record (Spinach Leaf) and the second record ''Behold And See''. The band broke up shortly after Behold And See was recorded due to constant infighting with the lead singer. The producer had to put together a 100% completely different lineup for the third self titled record (Jeff Skunk Baxter) to fulfill a contractual obligation to MGM Records. Ultimate Spinach was formed right here on Cape Cod,MA and rehearsed right on Main St. in Osterville in Richard's family's guest cottage in the back of the ARCO station (now a HESS & Dunkin Donuts!) and they eventually moved to Boston to ''make it big'' and were regulars at The Boston Tea Party, Unicorn Coffee House,Fillmore,Winterland,etc. and toured the US opening for some of the biggest names of the late 1960's including Big Brother,Jefferson Airplane,Paul Butterfield,Canned Heat,etc.. just to name a few.
