JEFFERSON AIRPLANE - Golden Album ( Victor SRA-5121, JAPAN 1968 )
Here we have a very rare original album from this San Francisco legends - only released in Japan. This deluxe package comes in a very beautiful gatefold cover design (see scan) and multicoloured marbled vinyl. I think musically this band needs no further description - including 14 tracks from their 1st albums: Somebody To Love / White Rabbit / She Has Funny Cars / The Ballad Of You & Me & Pooneil / Watch Her Ride / Martha / Two Heads / My Best Frien / How Do You Feel / Blues From An Airplane / Tobbaco Road / It´s No Secret / Let´s Get Together / Bringing Me Down. Sorry, NO OBI !
The gatefold cover is in excellent minus (ex-) condition, shows tiny wear on seams and corners - a tiny seamsplit on top seam. The name "DINO" is written in decent letters on the innersleeve on top left side.
The record is in very good plus (vg+) condition, shows some hairlines and paper scuffs - several surface cracklings in the background on various parts of the LP - but NOT in a very loud or disturbing way
