BILL QUICK - Beautiful People ( Explosion 204.2002, Brasil 1973 )
Bill Quick (his father is from the USA, and his mom from Venezuela) recorded this mysterious fantastic album in Spain 1973, where he spent the most time of the early 70ies, playing music and manufacturing leather belts and other stuff. Released was his album "Maravillosa Gente" (Beautiful People) in Spain and in Brasil in a totally different cover (this copy). Musically it´s an amazing, really great work - ranges from beautiful introspective acoustic solo tracks, to full - backing - band psych influenced folk rock numbers (up to 11 musicians joined him in the studio), to fantastic acid folk compositions and amazing songwriting. A really winner and very recommeded.
The cover is in excellent minus (ex-) condition, shows signs of using - no heavier wear
The record is in excellent (ex) condition, shows some paperscuffs and a few fine needle marks - only here and there some soft surface clicks
