Description
This is a rare 1st pressing vinyl LP copy of "Very ‘Eavy Very ‘Umble" by Uriah Heep on the Vertigo label (6360 006) featuring laminated sleeve, Vertigo “Swirl” label and original Vertigo “Swirl” inner sleeve.
I class the outer gate fold sleeve as "Very Good Minus” There is minimal rub wear to the top edge, 1 rub mark to the bottom edge (2cm approx) and 1 rub mark (3 cm approx) and some creasing to the spine. There is corner wear to all 4 corners. There is marked laminate creasing around the edges of the front and back cover. The inner cover is relatively clean though it does have some minor mottling and some edge creasing. There is some minor ring wear to the back cover (see photos).
The disc itself I would class as "Very Good" as it retains its lustre but has a number of visible marks.
I would grade the labels as "Good". There is minor spindle wear and rub marking to both. There is age discolouration to both. Label side 1 has a name written on it in ink. Label side 2 has staining and has been defaced with a pen (spiral markings) and a name (see photos).
The original inner paper sleeve I would grade as "Good”. There are splits to all 3 edges. There are some small tears to the centre hole and to 1 corner. There are some corner creases. The band name and serial number have been written in pencil and there is staining and age discolouration.
Matrix: Side 1: “6360006 1V//1?420” stamps “L 1 9”
Side 2: “6360006 2V//1?420” stamps “L 1 9”
Classifications in accordance with Record Collector Magazine's Record Collector Grading System and are possibly slightly pessimistic compared to some other sellers/collectors.
