SLEEVE EXCELLENT. UK FIRST PRESSING UK VERTIGO LAMINATE GATEFOLD SLEEVE.
INNER VERTIGO SLEEVE IS GOOD. HAS A SURFACE TEAR.
The Record is visually in very good condition. The vinyl surface is very good, There are numerous very light surface marks clearly visible on both sides of the record when viewed under bright light. Small surface scratch mark to side B 1st track "Dreammare" but plays through without skip or jump, and is largely not too noticable. overall the record plays through very well and is certainly very acceptable.
The record has been professionally cleaned before sale and it plays through very well, there is some surface/background crackle noise detected and this is mainly restricted to the lead ins at start of each side where needle will have dropped, and background noise level reduces as record plays through. There is not too much noticeable background noise between some of the tracks, which is always a good sign, light background noise detected and restricted to lead ins and quieter sections as is expected and quite normal on older records that have been played.
The Labels are both excellent, both Labels show only minimal signs of any spindle marking and there is no wear to the centre hole, No aging marks, there is no writing, very clean labels.
The record has been played through completely and tracks play as noted below:
Side A : Gypsy, Noticable background crackle to start, very loud track, quality gets much better as track plays through, though there is noticeable background detected mainly on quiet sections, overall play very good. Some crackle between tracks.
Walking In Your Shadow: plays very well, minor noticable background noise to start of track, gets better as track plays through , quite loud track so hides much of any background noises, which are only light. reasonably quiet between tracks.
Come Away Melinda: A quiet track, starts quiet and builds up, has light noticeable background noise on the quiet sections, but still plays very well considering how quiet and melodic it is, overall very good and is reasonably quiet between tracks.
Lucy Blues: Plays extremely well, light background noise detected at start, quite a loud track, Excellent organ and guitar sounds, not much noticeable background. quiet quiet run off.
Side A plays very well with only light noticable background noise detected on the quieter sections of the record, does not affect the overall play quality of record.
Side B : Dreammare: Starts with heavy noticable background crackle to the introduction until vocals kick in, then plays fine and acceptable, light surface scratch on this track, plays through OK without jumping, still plays very well, has some light noticable clicks through scratch mark. noticable only if listening intensely. finishes well , reasonably quiet between tracks.
Real Turned On, Starts very well and plays very well, loud track, has only very feint noticable background noise on the quieter sections. Overall Very Good.
I'll Keep On Trying: Starts very well, Loud track so hardly any noticable background.,Organ very clear, great bass and drums, clear crisp cymbols , vocals very clear and guitar solo excellent, great track, quiet between tracks,
Wake Up: plays very good, loud at start and ends quiet, plays very well.
Side B Plays very well, with some light minor noticeable background noise on the quieter sections.
Overall Record not mint by any means but it does play very good and is very acceptable.

There is very little and then only very minor very light surface wear to the sleeve, slightly heavier surface edge wear to the edges and corners and the top and bottom of the spine, the spine is excellent with only light surface edge wear to very centre, All of the title text is intact. There are no tears and no splits, Both Front and Rear covers of sleeve are excellent, very good and a clean sleeve, very minor very light surface creases only, No writing, No stickers.
