URIAH HEEP DEBUT ALBUM " VERY 'EAVY....VERY 'UMBLE" LP:
RARE ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING ON THE ORIGINAL VERTIGO SWIRL LABEL 6360 006.VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH THE LARGE VERTIGO SWIRL LOGO.
RECORDED EARLY 1970 AND FIRST RELEASED 1970.
ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING MATRIX NUMBERS:
Side A 6360006 1Y//1 V 420 1 1 5 and Side B 6360006 2Y// 1V420 11 1.
RECORD EXCELLENT
SLEEVE. EXCELLENT
The Record is in excellent condition. Has a Very Good vinyl surface, there are a number of very light surface marks/scuffs visible under a very bright light, the record plays excellent. The Labels are excellent, Black and White Vertigo Swirl. Both Labels are very clean and show no signs of any spindle marking and there is no wear to the centre hole, There is some writing, a name neatly written in ink on side 2, There are no stickers on the labels.
The record plays very well, awesome sound quality. there is some very light background noise detected, particularly to the lead ins where needle has dropped to start of each side, and occassionally on quieter sections, as is always the case on records that have been played, "Come Away Melinda" one of the softer, more gentler tracks plays superb, and there is virtually no background noise detected between the tracks, which again is always a good sign. The Vinyl surface is excellent, some light surface marks noted above, very clean with an excellent sheen, superb quite thick heavy duty vinyl.
The Sleeve is excellent condition, Laminated matt finish to external cover of sleeve and matt to the internal. There is very little wear to the edges, small amount to corners of cover. Gatefold sleeve, only the lightest of edge wear, corners very good, light bottom spine corner wear, tiny surface tear on rear bottom right corner, still intact. The spine is excellent, no surface edge wear, all text is still intact. No writing or unwanted stickers. No creases, Sleeve in fabulous Condition. Record has the original Swirl Inner sleeve.
Record will be posted in fully protective packaging. Record will be taken out of sleeve and sent in a white inner sleeve and record and sleeve will be in a polythene protective outer sleeve.
