THIS ONE IS A BEAUTY..AND PLAYS FANTASTIC..

WE ALL KNOW A MINT ONE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE, AND WORTH OVER £1000 IF YOU DO!

THE VINYL   EX STRONG - PLAYS QUITE SUPERB

As you can see, this vinyl is the  1st x 1 MATRIX SPIRAL  PRESSING- COMPLETE WITH THE ULTRA RARE 111 MOTHER STAMPS ON SIDE 1.

THESE COPIES ARE BEYOND RARE AS YOU KNOW!

On the rare occasion this LP surfaces, they are normally very very worn, damaged and sound pretty awful..AND yet they still sell for big money- due to the rarity.

SO...WHEN LISTENING TO THIS VINYL WE WERE AMAZED...IT IS AN AMAZING FIND.

This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is  LITTLE dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age.

There is only average spindle skate and no real signs of any wear to the hole at all

Best of all there are no scratches ar damage at all, and this rich luxurious vinyl is a beauty, and one of the most exciting vinyls finds we have ever had.  This 'SALISBURY' is a beauty.

SO HOW DOES IT SOUND?

Well as we know, these rare copies will always have some anomolies on play- most copies we have heard are terrible for scratchy noise, jumps, pops and static..loud static!!

So, on this copy -wow!! 

On playing through we heard some light static in the dead grooves and there is a tiny feint 'under current' of static throughout the play in some places..BUT....all things taken into consideration, it really is a stunning listen, and the quiet passages had no pops clicks or jumps at all and overall this is the cleanest listen we have heard ever.

With a professional hoover clean, this could remedy some of the obvious ground in dust that is in the grooves (after all this 43 years old!)

Again we have to stress..this is a super clean listen and we doubt in this day and age you'd find a better vinyl..if there is one out there it will probably be £1000 plus!

On summising we say- the rich sound is massive and on the title track it is really quite special..the whole LP was a pleasure.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

A super sleeve, with  signs of wear..

The edges have some usual rub and wear and there is some light seam white rub in places

all edges do show signs of the usual wear- BUT nowhere near as bad as some sleeves we see.

No powdery white ringwear bar the lightest on the front sides- some light ring press, and all edges are super crisp. some feint seam rub

There is some tip rub on all corners , &  a few spider lines over the edge of the spine.

The spine edge shows light wear. It has that typical white line running down as in all Garrod sleeves.

the open out of the gatefold is superb. No wear to the black panel which is rare to see as most have ring wear this has none of any note. The white panel is also super clean

We cannot add any more than all things considered .....this SALISBURY?  ITS A BEAUTY!
