A MASTER BLASTER of heavy progressive rock. I saw the band play live on tour promoting this album at the Hammersmith Odeon (supported by the Heavy Metal Kids) and I went straight out and bought this album the very next day! It's remained one of my favourite Heep albums, not least because of the incredible artwork and the title track that rocks like a mad amalgam of Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. For me, this is where Heep started to get really interesting pushing the boundaries of their sound and with the inclusion of John Wetton on bass the possibilities were pretty much endless.
A truly great album from a time when music, especially heavy rock, was at the zenith of creativity.
Vinyl: Super nice condition. A couple of spindle marks and only minor scuffs from sliding in and out of the cardboard inner sleeve. Minimal signs of use. Grades as a very nice and shiny MINT-!
Cover: Only Minor signs of use. Sharp corners, one miniscule ding, no bends, no split seams and no creases. Stiff, straight and uncrushed spine - miniscule wear visible. Only defect is some extremely faint storage wear. The cover on this album is extremely tough to score in decent shape - I've been collecting Heep albums for years and have only ever seen one perfect example of this album and this one is about as good as my personal keeper copy. Grades as Ex+
