Here yet another from my personal collection! Absolutely awesome audio with no clicks or pops, very very scarce and rare to find originals like this!!! The vinyl looks barely ever played !!! Unbeleivable for 37 years old and original like this!!!!!Please note! It is rare to see this album with both A-1 and B-1! There are many that I have seen with the more common A-1 and b-2 Please do not underestemate the rarety of this album!!!!!!

Look at Yourself is the third album released by British rock band Uriah Heep!!.

The title track and "July Morning" were released as singles in North America in 1971 and 1973, respectively!!.

The original cover art (not pictured opposite) was innovative, the LP coming in a single sleeve with a die-cut opening on the front through which a reflective foil 'mirror' was seen. This relates the cover art directly to the album title. The idea was that of guitarist Mick Box. Not being a perfect reflecting surface, one sees a distorted image of oneself. Indeed, this theme is carried on with the band photos on the rear of the LP sleeve, which have also been distorted. The band identifies with the listener and vice versa!!!.

The LP itself was housed in a heavy-duty card inner, complete with lyrics!!.

The song "July Morning" has become the inspiration for a Bulgarian Hippie tradition, known eponymously as July Morning!!!.

The Vinyl

On initial inspection i can barely see a blemish!! This lays perfectly flat on the turntable!! Important note! This is the original heavy and thick type of vinyl with deeper grooves,only found on 1st pressings!!!,, (later press were much more flimsier and less robust)

Any marks that could possibly be seen under a strong light would be sleeve removal only!  (no) needle scratches or audio sounding marks on this vinyl!!!!

I have played this through prior to listing at very loud volume on a top system! This audio is awesome 'The best that i have heard ' Top Top on all frequencies! (no) clicks or pops cristal clear and vibrant!, with no signs of any distortion what so ever and definatly no signs that this has been over played! In fact in my opinion this has barely ever been played at all!!!! The audio will be very hard to surpass, rich deep, bassey feel only found on early 1st pressings!!! compared to later press this audio can't be touched! look 1u 1st matrix and '1'R' '2'R'MOTHERS MEGA RARE!!!!!

Please note! i always add this disclaimer, Please allow for light static crackle (not) consistant throughout the audio perhapes heard during some quiet places please rememberr that this is a genuine 37 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 37 year old system!

Points to note! This has been stored laying dormant in a case for at least 25 years! A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves cause static crackle\ticks. A constant clean before each play is recomended! this would reduce this static and enhance the audio quality!!!!!

The labels

These are the original Bronze labels as new! Please note the 1sland cat. no ILPS-9169 (only 1st uk press) Later press carry the bronze cat no.! please note! i can barely see two or three spider marks only unbeleivable 37 years old!!!!

The record sleeve

This is the original 1st press lyric sleeve (flipback only 1st press) in superbe condition very small  split beginning at the bottom and light ringware with age!

The Cover

This is the original E.DAY & CO 1st press mirror cover unlaminated mega impossible to find in good condition like this. There is amaizingly no real creases to talk of. light general storageware in the form of light rubbing at the edges only and slight rubbing at the front and flattening of the spine with age. but this must be graded at least as excellent if not better! very rare to find like this!!!
