Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

As you can see, this vinyl is the  EARLIEST A1 B1 ORIGINAL pressing- Stored from new this LP has seen A HANDFUL OF CAREFUL only, and remains in SUPER condition everywhere.

BEARING IN MIND THIS WAS ANOTHER OF THE 'BAD PRESSING' BRONZE RELEASES..Many copies f this LP are terrible sound and full of background distortion and crackle..(Same for 'Sweet Freedom', 'Wonderworld' etc, its hard finding a great player..despite many looking superb and clean..)

This one is a super sound, with minimal background and a professional hoover cleaner could remdy this to a bettr grade..there is some light crackle on the opening track of side 2.

OVERALL THE VINYL WAS WAY WAY BETTER THAN MOST WE HEAR

SOME LIGHT SPINDLE WEAR CONFIRMING BELOW AVERAGE PLAYS

Some light whisp and a few hairlines on each side of the vinyl and a little dulling in a few spots..

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

 This is in simply incredible condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean.

Most copies we see are always badly ring worn and suffer white rub everywhere- this is a super clean example

THE BLACK INKS ARE PRISTINE

The edges are all super clean with just some light traces of rub , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

No powdery white ringwear - somelight ring press only

some slight tip rub  &  just a couple of tiny spider lines on the edges

The spine edge is totally unmarked with no wear. Just a couple of spider lines

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -superb.

We cannot add any more than this! ITS A BEAUTY!
