ARCHIVE FIRST PRESSING - MATRIX END A-1U / B-1U
SPECTACULAR album all around from this excellent prog/psych British band, based mostly on the brilliant GODS psychedelic band (made 2 of the BEST albums and handful of 45s of the 1960's, without question! Very rare, but WORTH SEEKING OUT IF YOU CAN).
This is surely the best Uriah Heep LP of all their releases - it's consistently high standard playing and strong songs, well produced and packaged, and must stand among the best for the genre - and the time in music. Classic imaginative 'fiction' composing matched by another beautiful Roger Dean cover artwork.
They were a hard-working outfit too - prolific in recordings released, and some tough touring throughout the early 70's. Solid driving progressive rock then, from a seasoned band.
The vinyl is lovely NEAR MINT-
