UP & DOWN – HORACE PARLAN – BLUE NOTE 4082 – VG+ - LP: NEW YORK USA – COVER: 43 WEST 61ST ST USA – MONO
Recorded on July 18, 1961 at Rudy Van Gelder’s studio, this Blue Note session features Horace Parlan on piano, Booker Ervin on tenor, Grant Green on guitar, George Tucker on bass and Al Harewood on drums. SIDE A: THE BOOK’S BEAT; UP AND DOWN and FUGEE. SIDE B: THE OTHER PART OF TOWN; LONELY ONE and LIGHT BLUE.
I’ve rated this as VG+. The main reason for this rating is that there is a scuff on side two, cut two that is visible but does not interfere with play. Other than that, the vinyl is clean and there is no wear around the spindle hole. This is a New York USA LP. The cover is a “43 West 61st St., New York 23” and it is in excellent condition. There are no taped seams or particular wear on the cover. This is a Mono recording. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
