the record is EX+ and overall looks in very clean condition.
Picked up by Shel Talmy around 1964 as a Georgie Fame styled mod band,he produced two singles which were leased to Parlophone and Stateside before issuing the next two on his own Planet label. The Fame styled organ driven beat with Mose Allison type vocals is something that is very strong in today's Mod club circles. At the time it didn't bring the hits so Talmy's production company under the famous Glyn Johns injected a harder guitar edge into the Untamed's sound. Sadly the hits didn't come but the group stirred up a lot of interest in the Uk and abroad at the time.
the issue does not come up very often so the opportunity to get hold of the demo in this condition is not one that will come up again in the forseeable future. please check some of my other mod - reggae - psyche and freakbeat singles as I intend to sell off a few over the next few months.
