UNPLAYED! Original 1989 Glam/Hair Metal Gold-Stamp PROMO Vinyl! Hype Stickers! Official PROMO Band Photos and Bios!
This is a NO-RESERVE AUCTION -- that's right, you set the price -- for UNPLAYED gold-stamp PROMO vinyl copies of "supergroup" Blue Murder's 1989 self-titled debut album, with frontman John Sykes (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), drummer Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Beck, Bogart & Appice, Rod Stewart, Pat Travers) and guitarist Tony Franklin (The Firm); and Faster Pussycat's 1989 second album, "Wake Me When It's Over." Both discs were RIAA Certified Gold Records.
The winning bidder also gets hard-to-find official band PHOTOS and multi-page band BIOGRAPHIES that accompanied these promo records -- indeed, such items are finds in themselves.
Since grading is ultimately subjective, I won't apply my ultimately subjective grading here. I will say that both albums were sent by their record companies to a media outlet for airplay and/or review 35 years ago, and safely stored in "as delivered" condition -- the "Blue Murder" outer sleeve remains especially nice. In any case, neither disc was ever played. It happens!
Please examine the photos, shot in natural light without even a smidge of technical enhancement. They tell the story.
